Doni is Blessed!

This is it! We did it! Doni is now a blessed goat. As some of you may know, Doni's journey started with an invitation to participate in the St. Francis parade, procession of the animals at St. John the Devine in New York City. It was everything we were hoping for and more, check out the photos below.Justin and Doni got to the Church early on Saturday morning.

Doni attended the service in the church with Justin and Pippa, p:ear Program Director who had flown all the way to New York to show her support and help out.




Then it was time for Doni and Justin to get fancy for the procession. Doni had a garland made out of leaves but he ate it, so he ended up with just a blue ribbon collar. Doni also met many other animals, including the donkey above.


Doni had a great time walking in the animal procession, and meeting all the people at his booth later that day. Thank you to all the people who made this blessing possible! Doni is now a blessed goat, but then again, Doni has always been 'blessed' in one way or another.
